I am a General Science major, so that means I am an absolute sucker when it comes to science museums and fun, educational places to keep learning. Of course, there are the obvious options: the Telus World of Science in Edmonton as well as the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller. But there are many hidden gems that you may not have known about! So why not take a walk on the (not-so) wild side and learn a little bit about a whole lot of things?
- I have to start with the obvious here: Telus World of Science
- Where: Edmonton
- Distance from Camrose: 1 hour 15 minutes
- Admission Price for Students: $23.95
- Open: Monday to Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm
- Next up, my personal favourite: Royal Tyrrell Museum
- Where: Drumheller
- Distance from Camrose: 2 hours

- An Albertan Classic: Canadian Energy Museum
- Where: Devon
- Distance from Camrose: 1 hour

- This place is a well-known tragedy: Frank Slide Interpretive Centre
- Where: Crowsnest Pass
